Typotheque took the established concept of razor-thin negative space and applied it to a system where nothing is forced.
And then there was Klimax. Here is an example of how someone takes the fusion of two clever thoughts to make a brilliant idea. This typeface is a clear-cut system; balanced, readable & far more unique than its predecessors.
Black Slabbath brought brief buzz to the idea of typefaces with minimal negative space. Clearly it wasn’t the first, but it has lots of jazz and trendy appeal etc. Here are some examples of other minimal negative space typefaces, all of which are more balanced and thought-out than Slabbath.
