Abe Vigoda - Wild Heart
This is a REALLY interesting cover of the song posted below by Stevie Nicks. This is one of my favorite bands and their latest EP is a nice departure from their coined “tropical” sound.
I don’t know how well it works, but I personally like this version of Wild Heart a lot. Something nice about a lot of Abe Vigoda’s music is it is negative subject matter delivered in a nonchalant/positive way. I think that was the jump start to their initial appeal (that and the tropical bandwagon).
However, this song is delivered with all the cathartic power that the lead singer seems to posess, which is usually tamed by the seemingly indifferent sonic presence of the rest of the band. I’m excited about future release from them.
