Couldn’t be more true. Laws are simply the framework from which justice is built. Justice interprets the law relatively for particular scenarios. Our judicial system has fallen to shit because we value laws over justice. And American laws were derived from a moral code instated by fundamentalist Christians thousands of years ago. If we don’t start re-interpretting these laws to consider the rapid changes in the contemporary era, we will surely fall to mayhem.
